iPad Pro Specs – What to Expect
The iPad Pro Specs were just one topic of discussion at Apple’s September event, but they are definitely noteworthy. That’s right, Apple is hitting the market hard with an all-new iPad Pro. Whether or not you’re a fan of tablets, you’re going to want to take a look at the new iPad Pro specs!
iPad Pro Specs
If you’re thinking of purchasing the new iPad Pro, or just curious about the newest Apple tablet, check out our list of it’s new features:
Design
The iPad Pro is a beautiful design. With a 6.9mm thin body weighing in at only 1.57 lbs, this tablet is just what you’d expect from Apple. The durable aluminum unibody comes in either silver, gold, or space gray. Apple has yet to add a USB as they kept things simple with a single port, which has been a concern for many iPad skeptics for years.
Display
For a while, the tech world was a competition based on who could create the most compact technology. While Apple continues to boast ultra-thin products, Apple went big with the 12.9” display of the iPad Pro. This retina display has 5.6 million pixels and is 78% larger than the iPad Air 2.
Processor
The iPad Pro comes equipped with the A9X 64-bit processor chip to handle even the most demanding workload. Multitask with ease and run multiple apps without sacrificing system performance, whether you’re gaming, creating, or streaming.
Touch ID
Keep your files secure with the Touch ID fingerprint scanner built right into the home button. This allows for quick and secure access when you need it while keeping unwanted users off of your iPad Pro.
Sound
The new iPad Pro has not two, but four speakers built in to give you better sound balance, no matter where you are holding your device.
Accessories
If you are looking to take your new iPad Pro experience to the next level, Apple has a few accessories for you to check out. The new Apple Pencil is the first stylus created by Apple specifically for the iPad Pro. While it’s not a requirement to use the device, the Apple Pencil is a great tool for creating on the iPad Pro. Also, a new Smart Keyboard is a full-size keyboard designed to be portable and convenient. Of course, these accessories come with an additional price tag.
Price
Are you ready for this? The iPad Pro comes in at a steep price starting at $799 for the 32GB WiFi model and climbs to $1,079 for the 128GB WiFi & Cellular version.
Are the iPad Pro specs enough to justify the price? That’s for you to decide. The iPad Pro hits the market this November, but don’t feel like you need to toss out your damaged or used iPad.
