Having trouble with your iPhone X power button? Is turning your iPhone X on and off not possible anymore? This issue can be irritating because it prevents you from taking screenshots, turning off your device, and putting it to sleep.

iPhone X Power Button Not Working?

While it could be a battery issue, it could also be a broken iPhone X power button. Buttons on your smartphone experience wear and tear due to everyday use. If you accidentally dropped your iPhone X, internal components of the power button may come loose or break causing a connection failure.

iPhone X Power Button Tips

There are a few things that you can try to fix the iPhone X power button before taking it to a CPR Cell Phone Repair shop to be fixed:

  • Ensure it’s Not a Dead Battery

Charge your iPhone X overnight and then try the power button again. If your cell phone still doesn’t turn on, then the issue could be a damaged power button.

  • Retrieve Valuable Data

To save any data stored on your device prior to having it fixed at CPR, try plugging your iPhone X into your computer. After about five minutes, the phone might power on by itself enabling you to transfer any necessary files and data.

Repair Your iPhone X Power Button

If DIY is your style, there are kits available for replacing the iPhone X power button. However, you run the risk of causing further damage to your smartphone. The other problem is that you could change the power button only to find out that the issue was actually a damaged battery. A professional diagnosis and repair by a CPR technician can minimize the risk of damaging your smartphone.

My phone suffered water damage when it fell into a puddle. CPR cell phone repair was unable to repair the damage to it but they provided me with a receipt to submit to the cell phone insurance company. Very nice guy!

I accidentally broke my phone screen yesterday-(9-8-23)-I called CPR at that time, and asked questions about a repair on my Samsung Galaxy a13. They said that they do repair it. My Christian sister took us to this location,-(9-9-23). I got a price on the repair-(pretty pricey)--but I went ahead and got it repaired anyway. The young lady said that it would take an hour, so I left my phone with them to do the repair. We left, and got something to drink, my friend went to take care of her business afterwards, and we went back to see if the phone was repaired...as I now hold this phone in my hand, writing this review, I have to say that they have done an EXCELLENT job for the price I paid! Thank you very much CPR Cell Phone Repair for the great job and service you've done for me! My phone looks absolutely beautiful!!
