Troubleshooting iPad 3 Home Button
Before you bring your iPad 3 and its broken home button to a professional technician, here are a few troubleshooting tips to try:
Clean the Home Button
Dirt or sticky substances on or around the iPad 3 home button could be the cause of your problems. Try using rubbing alcohol and a tissue or cotton swab to wipe on and around the home button.
Calibrate the Home Button
- Open any app that has come pre-installed on your iPad 3.
- Simultaneously, press and hold the Power button until “slide to power off” appears.
- Release the power button, and then press and hold the home button until “slide to power off” vanishes.
Enable On-Screen Home Button
- If calibrating your home button fails, then enabling your on-screen home button is your next priority.
- Simply go to Settings > General > Accessibility > Assistive Touch > Toggle On

Andrew was very helpful and fixed all my issues! He was able to restore my screen and fix other issues alongside it! Prices are very reasonable, one of the cheapest I could find in the area. Highly recommend!

My husband and I were on our way from Eufaula to OKC area today for a doctor's appointment. I decided I might like to have my cell phone screen replaced. I called 2 different place . The first business didn't have the screen for my Galaxy 8 Plus in stock so I then called CPR Cell Phone Repair. The gentleman I spoke to was very friendly and said he did have the screen in which would fit my phone. I dropped my phone off before our doctor's appointment. While there, we discussed my battery life not being the greatest. He also said he could replace my battery . He said it would most likely be 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Surprisingly, as we were walking out of the doctor's office (less than an hour later), my husband's phone rang. It was CPR Cell Phone Repair letting me know my phone was ready!! We went straight there, my phone was ready with exception of him putting the liquid screen sealer on my phon . He did that as I was standing there. Thank Goodness I decided to go this route rather than buying a new phone from my service provider. The cost today was right at $350. When we left, I searched new phones and about fell over, having no idea that new phones are now running $900 and UP!!! WOW!!! GREAT JOB CPR!!! APPRECIATE YOU!
